Chai for Upper Respiratory Infections

We call this recipe "sicky chai".  When you have a cold or flu it supports the immune system and reduces mucous.


  • 4 random pinch of turmeric
  • 1 cardamon pod
  • 1 tiny stick of cinnamon
  • 1 clove
  • 1 slice fresh ginger
  • 1 basil leaf or 1 pinch of Tulsi Herb
  • 2 pinches of nutmeg

Boil spices in water for 5 minutes. Then add tea back and boil for few more minutes. Finally add a little whole organic milk and bring to a boil.

Pour in a cup and allow to cool for a few minutes. Then you can sweeten with some raw honey. Sip slowly.
