Milk for Low Ojas

This recipe is designed to increase Ojas, the physiology's integration factor that coordinates all the various biological, emotional and mental functions.


  • 50/50 whole organic milk and water.
  • 2 crushed cardamon
  • 1 clove
  • 1 tiny stick of cinnamon
  • 1 thin slice of ginger
  • 2 threads of saffron
  • 1 pinch of crushed nutmeg.

Boil the water, spices and ginger together for 5 minutes. Then add the milk and bring to a boil for a few more minutes.

Let cool and sip slowly. This kind of milk doesn't create mucous, doesn't clog the channels and creates lots of Ojas.
