Description:

According to Caraka Samhita, the 2500 year old Ayurvedic Text, there are 2 kinds of Ghee. The first type of ghee increases Meda Dhatu (fat tissue). This type of ghee is made from simply taking regular butter and boiling out the proteins and other solutes. This is the type of ghee that you may have made at home or bought at the store.

The 2nd type of Ghee actually converts Meda Dhatu to Asthi Dhatu (fat tissue to bone tissue). This type of Ghee is made from cultured butter, i.e. butter that has an active probiotic culture. This type of Ghee not only improves fat metabolism, it also acts as a prebiotic (food) for the normal probiotic flora of the gut. For those of you you may have tried, making this ghee is a rather long and arduous process that takes several steps over several days. Furthermore, if any step is incorrectly done, then you have to start all over again. Time and expense usually dissuades most of our patients from making this incredible product.

Therefore, Prabha offers Fat Burning Ghee to our patients. She makes the ghee and ships it directly to you. She takes care of all the fuss.

The cost of the ghee is $39.95 for a 16 oz jar plus shipping.This product does not qualify for free shipping.  In most cases, the ghee can replace all other cooking oils.

US Continental Shipping

Shipping is via USPS. 

Shipping by express mail (1 to 2 day delivery) is available upon request at the customer’s expense.

Free shipping is not available for express mail orders.

  • Shipping is free for regular shipping orders over $100.00. 
  • Free shipping is not available for items not listed on the website.
  • Orders less than $100.00 will be charged $10.95 or less in most cases.
  • No probiotic shipsments on Thursdays or Friday to avoid overheating on the weekends.

USPS Shipping Delays

Orders are shipped within 1 to 2 days Monday through Friday.  Shipments go out in the mornings only.  USPS generally delivers on time however, we cannot guarantee USPS estimated delivery dates.

We will provide you with a tracking number for your convenience.  We will help you track the order if it is delayed by filing a claim with USPS.  USPS requires a 7-day delay from the shipment date to file a claim.

There will be no refunds for delayed shipments.

If USPS declares the package lost, we will refund or replace your order at no cost.

International Shipping

Shipping outside the US is availabe at the customer's expense.  Please contact us by email prabhavaherbals@gmail.com or phone 240-221-1986 for more information. We will need to know which items you want to order, your name and shipping address in order to provide you with an estimate of shipping costs.

    • All return items require a Return Authorization.  Contact Us
    • For a full refund, return unopened and unused item with proof of purchase/receipt within 30 days of purchase.
    • For purchases more than 30 days old, a restocking fee of 30% will be charged.
    • No returns for purchases more than 60 days.
    • No returns for perishable probiotic items i.e.: Protren & Yogurt Starter
    • If you receive an item defective or damaged, email us within 4 days of receipt for a replacement or refund
    • Buyer must pay for the return shipping charges with a tracking number, unless the item was received defective or damaged
    • We will process the refund/exchange once we have received the item.

    Our inspiration comes from our departed teacher Vaidya RK Mishra.  Vaidya Mishra's family lineage (known as Shaka Vansiya) maintained the completeness of Ayurveda for over 5000 years.  Vaidya carefully incorporated that ancient wisdom into all of his formulations. However, having lived in the West for more than 3 decades often he noticed that the Western physiology could not tolerate the intensity of the traditional Ayurvedic herbal formulas.  Thus, he created new formulations based upon the eternal principles of Ayurveda yet modified for the physiological needs of today's population.

    We created Prabhava to continue Vaidya's mission.  Our product's sourcing and manufacturing are directly supervised by the remaining members of the Mishra family called the Shaka Vansiya Ayurvedic Family Foundation (SVAFF) and strictly adhere to Vaidya's dedication to purity of materials and proper processing.
