Description

Sandalwood in Sanskrit is called Chandanam. White Sandalwood is full of the Soma (lunar) vibration. Soma gives rise Kapha Dosha in the body. Kapha is the structural material of the body such as muscle, fat, bone etc. Thus, plants high in Soma usually give a lot of heaviness in their effect. White Sandalwood is unique because it is light.

White Sandalwood is very cooling and is used in condition when there is a lot of inflammation in the body such as Auto Immune Disease

Aladhanam - gives bliss

Dhramhara - relieves fatigue without a known cause

Shoshanahara - relieves High Vata soaking essences of Dhatu - give dryness

Vishahara - relieves Ama and Gar Visha - burning pain and heat

Shleshmahara - Relieves Shleshma stuck when high Vata and Pitta

Trishnahara -relieves deep thirst
