Ashoka is one of Ayurveda's most profound emotional healing herbs. In Sanskrit, shoka means grief and a means without — so Ashoka literally means "that which removes grief." Applied transdermally, this formula may help support the emotional heart, calm the nervous system, and restore inner balance. It is also a key herb in the SV Ayurvedic Samadhi Set protocol for cultivating evenness of mind and heart.

Benefits

May help dissolve the vibrational imprint of grief, sadness, and emotional heaviness from the heart
Pacifies all three doshas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — and is deeply Somagenic (cooling, lubricating, alkalizing)
May help support rehydration and relief from thirst through its Grahi (absorbing) action
Supports immune function by creating an inhospitable environment for pathological bacteria (bacteriostatic)
Maintains alkaline colon pH to support probiotic health and friendly gut bacteria
Has a tranquilizing effect on the nerves; may help support painful Vata disorders

Directions

Apply the Transdermal Cream to the whole spine swiping downwards 7 times in the morning and evening. You may also apply to the pulse on both wrists for quick stress relief. Or use as directed by an SV Ayurvedic practitioner.
