Description

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), known in Ayurveda as Tvak, is one of the most versatile and beloved spices in the Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia. In SV Ayurveda, Cinnamon is classified as sweet, light, and pungent — a warming herb that kindles digestive fire (Agni), supports healthy sugar metabolism, and acts as a natural immune modulator by purifying the blood.

Beyond its well-known blood sugar and digestive benefits, Cinnamon has a broad range of actions in the body: it supports the downward flow of Apana Vayu (aiding elimination and menstrual regularity), clears and soothes the throat, and nourishes and improves both the quantity and quality of reproductive tissue (shukra dhatu). This formula pairs Cinnamon with DGL and Stevia Leaf for additional digestive soothing and natural sweetness.
